Welcome To

Halsnead Primary School

Whether you already have a child at Halsnead Primary School or you are a parent or carer who is considering sending your child here, we hope you find our website useful in gaining an insight into what Halsnead Primary School is all about.

We provide a rich curriculum, and we are very proud of our children’s achievements, both personal and academic. We aim to broaden children’s horizons further; we offer a wide range of extracurricular activities, exciting and enriching trips and much more. Our 'Growing Up Great' Character Curriculum gives children opportunities to develop their character to enable them to meet their high aspirations. Our knowledge-based curriculum gives children access to the best that has been thought and said and enables children to retain and apply knowledge. Our school is a safe and happy place for children to learn and grow. Halsnead Primary School truly is a home from home.

All the work we do in school is underpinned by our six values:

Kindness
Respect
Aspiration
Resilience
Integrity
Collaboration

Children and adults are encouraged to promote the values in all their work and interactions with others.

Within our school community it is the expectation that everyone (staff, pupils and parents) promote aspiration and ambition, encourage others to learn and be the best they can be, celebrate all achievements and then recognise their importance to the individual.

If you are a prospective parent and would like to view the school, please telephone the office to make an appointment. Alternatively, you can call the school office between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and someone will be available to help you.

We look forward to meeting you.
